On December 3, 2003, CBTF collaborated with the National Brain Tumor Foundation for a teleconference on this important topic.
There are over 26,000 survivors of pediatric brain tumors in the U.S. today. This seminar addressed the challenges they face and included information for parents, children and professionals.
The presenter was Daniel Armstrong, Ph.D., Professor and Associate Chair, Department of Pediatrics and Director, Mailman Center for Child Development at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Armstrong is also a member of CBTF's Professional Advisory Board.
