On Friday, December 8, 2000, CBTF collaborated with The Children's Cause and Cancer Care, Inc. on this topic.
This seminar addressed the how tos of: 1) working with your school to get appropriate services for your child; and 2) helping your child spend time with their peers, cope with their school assignments and adjust to going back to school.
The presenters were:
Daniel Armstrong, Ph.D., Professor and Associate Chair, Department of Pediatrics and Director, Mailman Center for Child Development at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Armstrong is also a member of CBTF's professional advisory board.
