A Resource Guide for Parents of Children with Brain or Spinal Cord Tumors
Our little yellow book is our most recognized support service. Physicians, social workers, nurses, and parents alike describe our Resource Guide as an important information source for families upon learning of their child’s diagnosis. To request a free copy for yourself, please contact us.
Available free to all families, the Resource Guide was first published in 1994. The book was written by parents for parents under the supervision of CBTF Board Member Bonnie Adlman, with the help of Miriam Barry, Maya Manley, Anita Nirenberg, RN, Susan Weiner, PhD, and CBTF Medical Advisor, Jeffrey C. Allen, MD.
Currently in its fourth edition, the Resource Guide, which remains a publication written by parents, survivors and professionals, continues to provide a comprehensive overview of the diagnosis and treatment of childhood brain tumors, family impact of the diagnosis, and resources available within the community.
