Children's Brain Tumor Foundation is partnering with Camp Mak-A-Dream for the second annual Heads Up Conference (HUC).
We expect approximately forty participants from across the country. Best of all, the conference if free of charge and there are many travel scholarships avaiable!
HUC is a special and unique conference offered to survivors of brain tumors between the ages of 16 and 30. There will be the opportunity to work together on issues related to attending college, finding a job, seeking health insurance and much more. There will also be the opportunity to network with others from across the country who share similar day to day challenges.
This is not a camp, although there is plenty of fun to be had. There will be opportunities to swim, make incredible art projects, to participate in sports and recreation, and nature hikes. We will take advantage of the beautiful mountains of Western Montana as well, and travel to one of the oldest mining towns in the state and see a performance in the oldest operating theater in Montana. This year we will be rafting.
