The CBTF tradition of parents reaching out, offering support and information to others, so no one needs to be alone, was the reason the F2F Bag program was developed in 2004 (originally "Parent-to-Parent"). Board Member Bonnie Adlman suggested CBTF create a F2F Bag that included information and supplies she felt would have been helpful when she first started this journey. The F2F Bag arrives to either the hospital or your home upon being referred by your medical team. Inside the F2F Bag is a copy of our book, A Resource Guide for Parents of Children with Brain or Spinal Cord Tumors, our children’s book, Parker’s Brain Storm, a stuffed-Parker bear, a journal for you to write thoughts and take notes in, some stationery, stamps and a pre-paid phone card. We personalize the F2F Bag for you and your child, including a toy and some fun activities that hopefully provide some comfort and distraction.
