Kyle was born October 10th, 1995, just a short 13 minutes after his twin sister, Tess. He was born on a beautiful blue skyed fall morning in New Mexico. He was born upside down...and so it would be with his life..he and Tess were the most precious babies... they both had the chubbiest of cheeks and wherever we went they were a hit... our life was complete now and all was well with the world.. a mere 21/2 years later that well world would cease.... Kyle was diagnosed with his brain tumor...for the following 9 years he would encounter many moments of pain...many moments of fear...many moments of uncontrollable emotions...mom would spend endless hours away from Tess and our lives would forever be changed...Kyle would fight his tumor...he would do it with grace, with trust and with undoubting hope...he would bring a smile and a laugh to all around him...he would meet his hero...Phil Collins..he would learn every word of his songs....he would treasure his cookbooks...he would teach each of us about strength and love and kindness...as his little life was beginning to end I would apologize to him that I could not save him...and he unable to speak would squeeze my hand tightly to let me know it was all right...that somehow he understood and forgave me....in the end this world could not save him...but this world was blessed with his presence and being...he truly was an incredible little boy...and Oh, how we miss him...
