Student Fundraiser

Ryan H. from Carnegie, Pennsylvania chose to raise money for CBTF as his senior project at Chartiers Valley High School.  Ryan’s mom was telling him about her friend’s son who had a brain tumor.  When he heard about what the boy had to go through at such a young age he decided he wanted to help children so maybe they wouldn’t have to go through the same things.

Ryan planned a bowling fundraiser to help raise money.  He made flyers and a facebook page and people were eager to participate.  Ryan said “When people heard Christopher’s story, they wanted to help.”  He raised $1360 for CBTF and also helped raise awareness!  Ryan learned not to take his health for granted and how generous people are.  We’re wishing Ryan the best of luck at Penn State Altoona in the fall!
