Coping with the Holidays and Family Celebrations while Grieving
By Jessica Elder
Tuesday, December 13, 2011
As a reminder, there is an active "Coping with the Holidays" message board discussion for bereaved families taking place in CBTF's online community, Jenna's Corner. We'd also like to share this article with you, posted on the American Hospice Foundation's website. The article focuses on how the anticipation of such days can sometimes be more challenging than the actual day. It discusses the potential benefits of planning for how you will spend the holiday, or celebration, and offers a checklist that enables bereaved families to consider which traditions they will continue, adjust, and discontinue. What are your thoughts on planning for such days?
