CBTF young adult survivor’s and our Young Professionals Group (YPG) are very active in both fundraising and providing peer support for each other. At CBTF fundraising events the groups combine efforts as volunteers. This year’s 3rd Annual Poker Event could not have happened without the help of this wonderful group. We know volunteering brings a sense of fulfillment, builds camaraderie and encourages positive self-esteem. For one lucky survivor this year it also brought a financial reward. Thanks to an extremely generous participant, Tom Ha was able to pocket the winning from the 50/50 raffle. In Mr. Ha’s words “I’m excited and overjoyed. I never ever in my entire life felt like this.”

Thank you to all the volunteers, players and CBTF Board members who make it possible for us to provide programs, information, support and research funding  for brain tumor patients and their families. Check the web site and CBTF facebook page for events and let us know if you are interested in becoming a volunteer by emailing info@cbtf.org or calling 866-228-4673.
