Finding Answers and Support When a Child is Diagnosed with a Brain Tumor

By Jessica Elder, LCSW
Tuesday, August 3, 2010

When your child was diagnosed with a brain tumor, tons of questions may have come up including “Where should I go for treatment? How is my child going to cope with this? How do I support my child through this? How do I get support?” It can be difficult to find answers to the questions you have and it can be overwhelming to look for them. Parents and Caregivers, what would you say to newly diagnosed parents who are looking for answers? Where did you find the information you needed? Or, maybe you are still looking for information? Please feel free to share your experiences.
